Vuarnet is an eyewear brand, owned and manufactured by Sporoptic Pouilloux, S.A. based in France. The brand was developed from the invention of the Skilynx lens in 1957 by French opticians Roger Pouilloux and Joseph Hatchiguian.
The sunglasses were originally marketed under the name Skilynx Acier, and were provided to the French Ski Team.
A good pair of sunglasses is essential for enjoying the sun, the filtering qualities of the lenses must be considered so that you have the correct type of lenses for your intended use, here is no point in buying lenses designed for high altitude if you use them for everyday urban life. Consider your visual comfort as well.
The brown for px2000 subtly enhance contrast sensibility, while the gray base of the PX3000 gives more consistent color transmission. All Vuarnet lenses benefit from anti-reflective coating, which eliminates annoying reflections off the concave side of the lenses, and improves the transmission of light through it.
